By accessing and using this website, you agree to be bound by the Terms. DutchCham reserves the right to modify or revise the Terms at any time, at its sole discretion. If you choose to access the website, then you are bound by any such modification or revision and should therefore visit this page periodically to review the Terms and Conditions. 

Membership 

All applications for membership are to be made by completing the application form on the website. By submitting an application for membership to DutchCham, the applicant is deemed to have read and agreed to the Terms and conditions. Further, where the applicant is an individual, such applicant represents and warrants that he/she is at least 18 years of age. 

Membership will start upon receipt of the membership fee payment. 

Membership is on an annual basis (from 1 January until 31 December). In order to cancel your DutchCham membership for the upcoming year, written notice must be given to DutchCham before the 1st of November of the prior year. A cancellation email may be addressed to info@dutchcham.sg.  When no written cancellation has been received, your subscription will be automatically renewed for the following year. 

DutchCham does not refund membership fees if membership is cancelled before the end of the relevant term. 

Membership fees for each membership type are stated on the website and are payable annually. DutchCham may review the membership fees from time to time and reserves the right to adjust the membership fees where it is considered necessary. Any changes to the membership fees will be notified to members prior to implementation. 

Events 

For paid events, DutchCham requires that participants pay in full upon registration. Failing to do so will automatically cancel the registration. Non-attendance or cancellations will not be refunded. 

Photography during Events 

Pictures may be taken during events. DutchCham reserves the right to publish these on its website - https://dutchcham.sg/– and social media pages (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) as well as print materials. If you do not agree, participants have to inform DutchCham by in writing before the event. 

Use of Materials 

The content of the DutchCham website (including, but not limited to text, photographs, graphics, video and audio contents) is protected under copyright law and is the property of DutchCham or the party credited as the provider of that content. You must abide by all copyright notices and restrictions on use. By sending content to DutchCham via our website, you are giving DutchCham the right to display such content on its website and its affiliated publications and to use such content for promotional and marketing purposes. 

You may access the materials located within the DutchCham website for personal use only. This means that you may download and save one copy of posted materials on a single computer for personal, non-commercial home use only, so long as you neither change nor delete any author attribution, trademark, service mark, or copyright notice. You may not modify, copy, publish, sell, display, transmit, distribute, create derivative works, or in any other way use or exploit the content of the DutchCham website.

Any and all terms of membership of DutchCham and the Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree that any action at law or in equity that arises out of or relates to the Terms will be filed only in courts located in Singapore, and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action. 

If any of the Terms are found unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision will be considered severable from the remaining terms and conditions and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
